Come & See 2020

A Virtual Event on November 13th, 7:00 PM

Celebrate with us on November 13th at 7:00 PM!

Join us for an evening full of prayer, celebration, and storytelling!  For 14 years, we’ve worked to meet the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children through sustainable partnerships with the local church and families.

Now, we want to share their stories with you! During the event, we’ll:

  • Celebrate with children and caregivers who have found hope for the future
  • Hear the stories of empowered caregivers and church leaders meeting the needs of children in their communities
  • Learn how and why Forgotten Voices believes that empowering families is the key to sustainable orphan care
  • Worship and pray as we trust God together for families, orphans and vulnerable children

We hope you’ll be able to join us for this special event!

About Forgotten Voices

We believe that sustainable orphan care starts by partnering with local churches to empower families and caregivers to meet the needs of children. Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with local churches in Southern Africa to empower families and caregivers to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in their communities.

Our approach to orphan care is based on a 3-tier approach that is sustainable and highly-effective.

Our Approach to Orphan Care in Southern Africa

Church-Based

Local churches know their community’s needs and are best-positioned to address them. Forgotten Voices partners with trusted and committed churches to serve orphaned and vulnerable children and their caregivers in their communities.

Family-Focused

Children thrive in nurturing families – so we equip families with safe parenting skills training, economic empowerment, emotional support and more. That way, families have skills and resources to meet their family’s needs while creating safe and supportive homes for children.

Child-Driven

Every child’s needs are different: some need education support, others need grief counseling or even skills training. Whatever the need, we work to co-create custom development plans with our church partners to ensure every child’s needs are taken care of.
